Privacy notice

Last updated 15 September 2026

Who is responsible: For the private beta, Solo+ is operated by Rebecca Allinson trading as Solo+ in the United Kingdom. Rebecca Allinson is the controller of member information. Contact support@joinsoloplus.com for privacy or support requests.

Solo+ uses your information to run a UK friendship and shared-plans community, manage the local waitlist, match useful travel areas, keep members informed and support safer participation. Solo+ is not a dating service.

What we collect

We collect contact details, age or date of birth, home area and postcode, places you would travel to, interests, availability, plan activity, messages, safety reports and account settings. Exact postcodes and meeting addresses are kept private and only shared where the service requires it, such as with confirmed plan members.

Why we use it

We use this information to provide the service, protect members, respond to reports, measure local demand and improve the product. Marketing updates are sent with your consent and you can unsubscribe at any time. Where information is required for safety, fraud prevention or legal compliance, we rely on the appropriate lawful basis rather than marketing consent.

Who helps us provide Solo+

Our current service providers include Supabase for accounts and data, Netlify for hosting, Resend for transactional email and Postcodes.io for UK place search. They process information only to provide those services under their own security and data-protection obligations.

How long we keep it

Waitlist records are reviewed after 24 months without activity. Active account and plan information is kept while the account is open. Notification delivery logs are kept for up to 90 days. Identity images, if this feature is enabled later, are deleted after processing and in all cases within 24 hours; the verification decision may be kept while the account is active and for up to 12 months afterwards. Safety records may be retained for up to 24 months after resolution, or longer where reasonably needed for an active legal or safeguarding matter.

Your choices

You can update onboarding answers and delete your account from Profile. You may also ask for access, correction, restriction, portability, objection or deletion by contacting support@joinsoloplus.com. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
